What We Are
Not a marketplace. Not a platform. A curatorial institution.
We are an appointment-only fashion showroom operating from SoHo, New York. Every piece in the vault has been sourced, authenticated, and catalogued by hand. Not because that is the most scalable way to operate - but because it is the only way to operate at the standard we hold.
We work with collectors who know exactly what they want. We also work with clients who do not yet know that what they want exists. That difference is the work.
Commerce is downstream of curation. An object is worth knowing about before it is worth buying. We do the knowing first.

The Founder
Founded by Dax Galak - SoHo, New York
The showroom began as an appointment-only space because the experience of encountering the right object in the right environment, with someone who understood it deeply, was the product.
Dax built OnBond because the fashion industry did not have what it should: a place where taste operated as the organizing principle, where curation was the work, and where the currency was trust.
He sources personally. He authenticates personally. He catalogues every piece that enters the vault. The showroom is appointment-only because every visit should mean something. The curation is personal because no algorithm has taste.
OnBond is the institution that did not exist. It does now.

From the Vault
A selection of current pieces.
Sourced, authenticated, and catalogued. Each piece has been reviewed before listing. We stand behind every piece in the vault.
The Object - Editorial
Sustained readings of significant pieces.
When a piece warrants more than a condition note, we write it. The Object is a permanent record of what these garments actually are - not what the market says they're worth.
Each treatment is 1,500 to 3,500 words. Each one contains at least one claim about the object not available anywhere else. The archive is permanent.

First appointments are complimentary. Come prepared to tell us what you wear, what you are looking for, and what you want your wardrobe to do for you. The more specific you can be, the more useful we can be.
The Letter
Weekly. One subject.
Not a newsletter.
A direct communication from the showroom. What we are sourcing, thinking about, and encountering. Subscribers receive every Object treatment when it publishes. No roundup format. No promotions.
